Dr. Amanda Hess, an Obstetrician from Frankfort, Kentucky was on the brink of labor when she overheard that another baby was in distress.
Leah Halliday Johnson was in active labor and her baby had to be delivered immediately. Whilst her own Ob-Gyn was on their way, Dr. Hess knew that help was needed – and fast. Speaking afterward, Dr. Hess recounted how she put on another gown to cover up, put some splash boots on and off she was to deliver that baby!
